Choose your country

Overview

From seminars and street theatre to training courses and festivals: there are hundreds of events taking place during European Youth Week all over Europe.

With attractions large and small, in capital cities and far beyond, there’s something to suit every taste – and it all helps to build a better Europe.

How? Well, it gives young Europeans a platform to discuss the challenges they face and set about ways to tackle them and help influence the future of EU policies.

Youth unemployment? Access to higher education? Support for entrepreneurship? These issues and more are the subject of debates going on throughout the 33 countries involved in the Youth in Action programme: the 27 EU member states, as well as Turkey, Croatia, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein and Switzerland.

Every participating country has a National Agency responsible for organising events during EYW. The European Youth information network, Eurodesk, also carries out activities in the 27 EU countries. Youth councils and national authorities are often involved. If you want more information, you can contact your National Agency.

So, whether it’s a huge EVS birthday party in Vienna, or a photo competition in Ireland; debates in Slovenia or training courses in Romania, you can learn more about the world around you – or simply soak up the fun.

www.youthweek.eu brings you a full overview, country by country, so get yourself over to your national page and join in!
